Angie's List: 2/4/2010 I have a 52” Panasonic projection television that was having problems with the green going out in the picture. Sam found the problem right away, along with finding another problem with the CRT sockets that he was able to fix too. He also cleaned the color lenses along with adjusting the picture settings to provided the best picture possible. Sam is a supper nice knowledgeable guy and it was a pleasure having him here to take care of our problem. I highly recommend him to others.

Angie's List: 2/2/2010 He was amazing. He saved my TV. He totally saved my kitty; he saved me $3000. My TV just died. This man was experienced. He was smart. He did not give up. He saved my TV. I think if I had anybody else, they would have just walked away. I really believe that. He took time. He was a brilliant guy. He was super nice. He was good. He gave me all kinds of advice on the TV. He was the best. It cost me $435. I had a little extra work done. The cost of the repair would have been $230. I had some additional parts replaced. He was booked out and then we were on vacation so we could not have him in right away. He was awesome. He was wonderful. He was great to my kids. I have 2 dogs that were running around. He was very patient with them.

Angie's List: 1/7/2010 Sam came to our home within 2 days of calling. He was punctual and very professional. His advertisement claimed that he had 40 years of experience in electronics. Sam was very knowledgeable about our Sony TV. He diagnosed and repaired our TV quickly. Sam left the work area very clean despite the dust and lint that he uncovered when he removed the back of the TV. The bill was as quoted, there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Sam and In-Home TV Repair. Our experience was superb, especially since I did not have to break my back hauling it to a repair shop.

Angie's List: 3/23/09 Excellent experience. When I called to make the appt. I was given an approximate cost, and got an appointment for a few days after i called. On the day of the appt. the office called with a 30 min. window to give me time to get home. Sam was very professional and fast working. He identified the problem and provided the additional insight into what i may have expected had I brought the tv to a shop - which was to replace the entire board rather than just the plug that broke. I'm sure he's right. He 'fixes', rather than 'replaces'.

Angie's List: 1/10/09 Sam Sieben has been doing repairs for 30 years, and now works alone after downsizing his operation from 9 repair people. He was fantastic. Knew exactly what was wrong, exactly how to fix it, and had all the necessary parts and equipment. Assured me that this was a good TV and worth repairing ($400 rather than $2500 for a replacement). In addition to the hour he spent on the repair, he cleaned everything, readjusted all the settings from a service menu, and left me with an essentially new TV.

Angie's List: 1/30/08 Sam Sieben, the owner and operator of In-Home TV Repair is definitely "old school," and I mean that in the most complimentary sense. It is abundantly clear that he takes a great deal of pride in his work, making delicate repairs when other technicians would more likely simply swap out expensive components for new ones. It is also very obvious that he knows what he is doing. Before he even had the service panel off he was describing in detail what he expected the problem would be and how long it would take to repair it. He then proceed to do just exactly what he describe, after which the set worked perfectly. His work is fully guaranteed and he made a point to tell us several times that if, after using the TV for a few days anything was amiss, that we should call him and he would come back right away for no additional charge. On top of all that his exceedingly friendly and courteous and simply a pleasure to do business with. Also, his wife Nancy handles all the scheduling and set up the appointment via email.
